“What, me? You think I’d fuck some bastard with a dick?”

Maybe he’d taken what I said as meaning I wanted to top him, and swung first because of that. My mouth, which had been about to add “I don’t want to top you, I just want to get topped,” shut tight.

So he didn’t even want to do the topping himself……. I sniffed in a dry snot that didn’t even exist.

That’s harsh. Zero love for humanity, damn.

“You’re not normal either, you crazy bastard…….”

Baek Beomgu made a disgusted face. He looked like the kind of guy who wouldn’t speak more than three words a day, but the way his expression changed so colorfully was pretty attractive and, honestly, hot.

Maybe because unlike a face that stayed stiff all the time, that kind of expression made me wonder what he’d be like during sex…….

“Why aren’t you getting lost?”

He’d been the one to force me in here, and now he was yelling at me to leave.

Baek Beomgu grabbed the back of my neck and started dragging me out. The hand touching my neck was big and hot. His skin looked well-done, like it had a lot of heat in it.

Holy shit. In an instant, heat rushed to my ears and neck. From tonight on, the fantasy of being pinned down by that hot body was definitely getting added to my repertoire.

Even if he couldn’t read the filthy stuff in my head, Baek Beomgu’s mood clearly soured, and he lifted me up like I was a small cotton ball, then tossed me out the door with ease and said,

“Even if you go somewhere and come back with your dick cut off, that still won’t happen, so get lost. Huh?”

Like he thought my crazy had infected him, Baek Beomgu exaggeratedly shook off the hand he’d used to grab my neck, then slammed the door so hard it looked like it might break.

Wow……. I lay there for a moment, then got up a little later.

How should I put it. I’d already been hit a few times, and I’d looked at his face up close a bunch of times too, but it still didn’t feel very real. That face suddenly showed up in my life and made me realize my sexual orientation.

And, just like back when I’d gotten used to robbing other people’s wallets after trying once or twice to scrape together money for moving out, I started a light self-justification under that target-oriented fuse that had been lit again.

I completely ignored the opinion of tiny little sane Taeeun, who thought it was about time I behaved and started planning for my future.

1) Baek Beomgu only said to get lost, not that I couldn’t come again. (What I said earlier today doesn’t count.)

2) I said it was crazy to want to fuck some bastard with a dick, but I didn’t say I wasn’t crazy. It’s not 0 percent possible.

3) And honestly……. if someone shows up in front of you, you should take responsibility…….

The self-justification ended safely.

I didn’t notice my father and the woman glaring at me with their eyes wide open, watching to see when exactly I’d move out of this house, or that I was spending all the money I’d managed to save by just goofing off.

All I decided was this: I was definitely going to sleep with that man who looked like a sex god turned human at least once.

That was the moment Jo Taeeun’s life started heading down a steep, high-speed downhill road.

Baek Beomgu. Twenty-three this year.

I was still at an age where I could be called cute in other places, but where I lived now, it was an age where I had to prove something.

Chairman Baek Jangho’s dream of having at least two sons, one to make into an intellectual and one to make use his fists, started off a little crooked when his child ended up being only Beomgu.

And his only son, Baek Beomgu, had been naturally gifted enough at using his body to already surpass his father long ago, but he had no interest at all in running his brain, which made Baek Jangho sigh in exasperation.

He didn’t really seem to have much ambition either. If a man was born, he should at least have the dream of becoming number one in this land. Even with his father’s nagging, Beomgu stayed indifferent. He’d do it because he was told to, but he didn’t seem like he’d do it well or do it hard.

Wasn’t that obvious?

I didn’t have any greed for making money or growing a business, and I didn’t want to be called chairman like my father and have a bunch of people under me either.

If I had to put it one way, I was closer to a bare-handed gladiator type. The blood inside me was always boiling, and this didn’t cool down just because I was punching people who couldn’t fight for shit.

If this were a time when territorial fights were all about brawls, I might’ve started from the bottom without thinking. But by the time Baek Beomgu was in high school, everyone was already only gangsters in name, fighting one-on-one wasn’t really a thing anymore, and they were just looking out for their own interests.

The public enemy was, rather, the people who couldn’t let go of their old fighting spirit and kept picking fights, damaging profits. Those people would get stabbed one day and quietly disappear from this world.

So I told you. I want to work out.

Whenever I was scolded for my brain never turning toward the money-making side, I answered that. Of course, it was a sound that wouldn’t stick at all and would just scatter.

Day after day, training and more training, I liked the feeling of my energy, which always felt like it would keep boiling forever, settling down and getting a little tired. I preferred colliding with someone who’d been honed the same way as me and fighting until I was drained dry.

But this city had once been a rural backwater, and the organization that had grown along with the city, starting from nothing more than fistfights, was now a proper business that handled everything from liquor distribution to karaoke bars and street stalls in front of clubs.

Who else was supposed to take this over if the only son didn’t?

— Baek Jangho said that if I was going to spout that crap about working out, I should drop the Baek surname and get the hell out of this house.

And then when I calmly said okay, I’d do that, he beat me for three straight days and sent me to the military early. He wanted me to get my mind right and follow after him.

The answer had been decided from the start.

So there really wasn’t much in life to enjoy. The only fun in my daily routine was when some criminal bastard happened to show up, and instead of quietly sending him to the police station, I got to step in and beat the shit out of him myself.

Beating up the bastards who did wrong didn’t require hesitation. Most of them were good at stabbing people in the back anyway, so they usually made trouble for themselves and got hit more.

When I heard about a twenty-year-old who only targeted office workers and shook them down for settlement money, it was also a time when my hands were especially idle.

He’s over 180 centimeters tall, and instead of fighting back, he deliberately takes a hit or two and then demands treatment money and a settlement — when I heard the routine, it sounded like I could just beat him to a pulp and start there……,

but when I actually hit him, he was way too weak.

I thought he’d naturally be a beast because people said he had a good build, but he was more like a cat with a body that just kept stretching longer. Or one of those guys in the savanna who survives on only grass.

Still, he was a bastard who had done something wrong, so I beat him without hesitation…….

With an empty shot glass in front of me, I briefly thought about the one existence that had been bothering me the most lately. The guy sitting next to me quickly refilled the glass. Without even really looking at it, I lifted it and poured it down my throat again.

I knew it wasn’t a girl. But sitting there with a face that looked like it had no plan to do anything harmful at all, only glancing at me from the corner of his eye, he looked kind of weak.

The reason I didn’t beat him harder when he made that insane request for me to take his virginity was that. He had the face of a girl who’d fallen for me at first sight, but he was a perfectly normal man and was acting weak.

“Leaving first.”

Without even breaking the flow, after drinking five bottles of soju in a row, I stood up first. I put cash on the table, waved off the men who were getting up after me, saying it was fine, and came out of the bar alone.

I hadn’t really liked group drinking sessions in the first place, like company dinners or whatever, but for some reason it was even more off-putting today.

It had been a while since I’d left my car behind, so as I walked briskly to get some air, my steps slowed a little when I was a few dozen meters from home. A short laugh slipped out with my breathing, which was a little hotter than usual from the alcohol. I knew that bastard would be standing there again.

After being called into the nightclub office once, Jo Taeeun changed tactics. He started showing up around my house instead of at the bar.

From the way he always sat there sipping alone, he looked like he had zero friends, so where the hell was he getting his information from?

Still, it wasn’t like I didn’t know his name at all. Once he found out I was Baek Jangho’s son, Baek Beomgu, it wouldn’t have been that hard to locate this absurdly flashy house that stood out the most in the neighborhood. That didn’t mean it wasn’t ridiculous, though.

What was he planning to do by coming here? He just stood there blankly with that pretty face, so it didn’t really make me want to beat him to death either.

That was a talent too. A huge man wandering around asking to have his virginity taken, and somehow not making me want to crack his skull open.

Hm. My head, a little softened by the alcohol, briefly wondered what would happen if that bastard were a twenty-year-old girl. A girl with a face that looked like she’d fallen for me at first sight, asking me to sleep with her.

Then I would’ve done it. No need to think twice.
